cards - cubs weekend...
it's the third series of the season where the cards face the worthless cubbies. cubs fan everywhere are rejoicing at the return of their savior kerry wood, who is slated for the sunday start, facing jason marquis.here's some food for thought for cards fans who may be nervous about the return of this once-strong arm. he has to be the most over-rated pitcher in major league baseball. wood has a career total of only 70 wins, and has never had a season with more than 14 wins - this is hardly hall of fame material. if dusty 'coltrane' baker had any sense, he'd never let this girlie-man out of the bullpin.
you can bank on me and tim wearing our cubs suck tee's all weekend - three game series - three styles of shirts... coincidence???
