tired of high air fares?
a new york man has shipped himself to dallas in a crate to avoid the high dollar air fare. it's actually a very funny story, but i can't beleive that we haven't seen more terrorists do this...

obs streak...
did this yesterday w/ timmy, congrove, and the mammary - the plan was to do the 60 mile route. i relied on tim to set the pace and followed him for the duration - we got separated from congrove and cotner early on, and assumed that they would finish well before us. plans are an important part of strategy and training, and someone forgot to inform congrove and cotner of this. apparently they thought that they felt pretty good at the halfway point and made the executive decision to CHANGE the plan, and do the 80 mile route (w/out informing us). tim and i completed our 60 miles - moderately slow, but steady and feeling good overall w/ the exception of a sore bum, and the rest of our team was nowhere to be found. we waited around for an hour and a half or so, and ate lunch. finally, when the parking lot was empty, all the police escorts were gone, and the race coordinators assured us that all riders were already in, we started to wonder what could have happened - then on the horizon - we could see two lone riders coming down the final hill - the tattooed one and the fat one with the white long sleeved t-shirt. as they neared the parking lot tim and i heckled and spit at them. tim said that they would get NO credit for going the extra distance and mike and chris both agreed that the only credit that they deserved was credit for making a really poor decision in okarche.
